MBT Orthodontic Treatment Philosophy
Diagnosis, Goals and Results
Pre-Congress Course - Thursday, September 22, 2011
This lecture will approach several aspects considering the control
of the orthodontic treatment during the aligning, the leveling,
the space closure and the fi nishing stages of treatment.
The occlusion and the achievement of the functional harmony
at the end of treatment will also be topic of discussion. Special
emphasis will be given to the computerized dental VTO in the
diagnosis and the orthodontic treatment planning. Several extraction
and non-extraction cases will be presented as well as
several anchorage systems applied. Dental expansion will be
discussed and evaluated as well as the vertical and the sagittal
control in surgical cases.
