Doc. MUDr. Olga Jedličková, CSc.

She completed dental studies at the Medical Faculty of the J. E. Purkyně University (nowadays the Masaryk University in Brno) in 1965. In 1967 she obtained specialisation in stomatology and in 1976 she completed specialisation in orthodontics. In 1985 she defended her dissertation thesis entitled “Diagnostics and therapy of retrusion defects”. She became associate professor in 1991 at the Palacký University in Olomouc by defending a habilitation thesis entitled “Indication of treatment procedures of selected orthodontic anomalies”.

Olga Jedličková was granted honourable mentions and awards for her published papers by the Czech Dental Society in 1984, 1985 and 1987 and by the German Dental Society in 1986 and 1987.

Besides her scientific work and publishing activities she also lectured numerous courses and authored many study texts.

For a number of years Olga Jedličková was member of the Czech Orthodontic Society, member of the Board of Directors of the Czech Dental Chamber and later member of its scientific council.

Currently she has a private practice and is member of the scientific council of the Masaryk University in Brno.
