The Scientific Committee reserves the right to place a contribution in a diff erent category,
upon consultation with the author. Priority will be given to the papers on the
main topics of the congress (Straightwire technique, Clefts of lip and palate).
The scientific committee will assets the best postgraduate lecture (for doctors in
postgraduate training and less than 2 years after its completion, mark the abstract
with the letters PG), the best scientific poster and the best poster with the practical
benefits to the practice.
Authors will be notified by July 31, 2011. Abstracts will be published in the congress
proceedings and in the journal Ortodoncie.
The Schedule time for each presentation is 15 minutes in the Main Scientific Programme
and 20 minutes in other sections. Author will be informed about the terms
and conditions and technical details in confirmation of acceptance of their applications.
The first author of each presentation will not have to pay the congress fee.
Poster boards will be 100 cm wide and 200 cm high. To ensure posters are readable
we recommend dimensions of 90 x 120 cm.
Posters will be exhibited on September 22 - September 24, 2011 on the third floor.

Abstracts that do not conform to the submission guidelines will be returned to the
author for revision by the special deadline. Abstracts received after this date cannot
be published. Submission of results may not be deferred to the time of your oral or
poster presentation. In such case, the Congress Scientific Committee would not be
able to rate your presentation.
